After being part of many underground and alternative bands for more than 20 years, singer/guitarist Matteo Fabbris started his solo project Our Beauty in the Fire in the summer 2019, out of the need to give form to past and current ideas, perceptions and suggestions. Initially unaware of the outcome and the scope of this intimate journey, Matteo started to draw OBITF's sound and aesthetics moving from dark folk, gothic, singer-songwriter influences, although not limiting to them. As time passed, this solo project grew up and evolved, turning into a gentle obsession. So far, Matteo has been and still is the only member of the project.
